Hanover work runs from Dartmouth area rentals to large private homes. We handle both, and we work clean in occupied houses.
Horsth Plastering covers Hanover, New Hampshire from our base in White River Junction. We handle the whole interior surface, insulation in the cavity, board on the studs, plaster or skim coat over it, and the decorative lime finishes on top.
On older houses here that usually means repair work: cracks, water damage, ceilings that have started to sag, and patches from previous owners that never matched. On new construction and additions it means insulation and walls flat enough that a painter can work with them straight away.
Hanover splits into two different jobs. There are the large private houses, where the finish is the whole point: flat walls in rooms with a lot of glass, Venetian plaster in a stair hall, tadelakt in a bath. Everything gets light checked, because a big window will find every seam you left.
Then there is the rental stock around the college, which is a different animal. Heavy wear, patch on patch, ceilings that have been painted six times, and a turnover window between tenants that does not move. We work both, and we schedule the rental work into the gap in the calendar rather than promising to squeeze it in around a family living upstairs.

When I needed a someone to hang and finish drywall in my new house, Diego was the only one to respond in a timely manner. He was extremely responsive and he scheduled faster than other companies have for my past projects. The communication was solid and the price was more than fair. The quality of finish was on point. It is rare these days to find a company that I have had such an enthusiastically positive experience with. Diego’s guys are artisans. Watching them work is a ballet of talent. Price is very reasonable for such a great product, esp since our job had a certain amount of complexity involved - 14’ commercial ceilings at ASt Commerce Park. Highly recommend.

Diego and his crew are far and away the easiest sheetrock contractor I’ve worked with. They fit into my schedule, they worked hard and fast to hang and worked cleanly and thoughtfully to mud, tape, and sand. Can’t ask for anything more.
